An engineer from the United States managed to create a robot that could dive andmove like a jellyfish. This robot is rumored to be used in underwater rescue operations. This robot is called Robojelly. Robots are still in early stages of making this use of hydrogen fuel. In theory, the fuel exhausted or will not consumed energy a lot.
Yonas Tadesse, as the developer said that the robot is able to perform movementsRobojelly simple pool that makes it ideal to use as a vehicle. These way the robotmoves in the water is very unique, Robojelly equipped with artificial muscles that supportmovement under water. Such as jellyfish, these muscles on the inside of the circularbody shaped like an umbrella. When contracted, this muscle closes like an umbrella forthrowing the water and push it to move forward. Then when no activities or relax, the muscle will return to its original shape. To mimic the muscular mechanism, the robotuses a shape memory alloy that can be given to forms of muscle movement to the original.
Robojelly also supported by the heat-producing chemical reaction between oxygen andhydrogen in the water, and use materials of platinum on the surface of the outermanifold. The heat generated from the reaction of artificial muscle is being sent to therobot to produce energy. This process will be repeated, so that the robot canregeneration fuel from water and no longer need to use an external battery
