HAMR technology from Seagate

Seagate reportedly is developing a technology called heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR), which promises a bigger hard drive capacity up to 6 TB for 3.5 inch sizes.
Doubled its capacity from the existing capacity. Currently the largest hard drive capacity is 3 TB to 3.5 inch size. Seagate even claimed, with HAMR technology, there is most likely 3.5-inch hard disk capacity can be between 30-60 TB or 10-20 TB to 2.5 inch size. If it can be realized, then the 3.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of 60 TB will soon be marketed globally.
