A mini robot shaped like a cockroach appears to be a trend of its own at this time. This is evidenced by the emergence of several robots like cockroaches. Previously, you would still remember the robot named Roachbot. Now, there is another similar product called VelociRoACH.
This robot has a tiny form. With a length of 10 centimeters, the robot has the ability to run fast enough. Its speed is capable to 2.7 meters per second, making this robot as one of the fastest for its size robot. Even compared to native cockroaches, robots also have the ability to run faster. The key to the speed of the robot is located on a six-foot-shaped like the letter C which is capable of rotating rapidly. Even the robot leg is able to stomp his feet to the ground 15 times per second.
Although fast, the robot also has the ability to maintain stability. Foot robot is programmed so that there will be three feet on the ground simultaneously.
